HoopX Privacy Policy
1. Our Privacy Principle
HoopX is designed to keep video processing on your device whenever possible. Videos imported from your photo library, custom logos, editing projects, AI analysis results, and exported videos are stored on your device or in locations you choose. HoopX does not require registration or login, and it does not upload this content to HoopX servers.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not store your original basketball videos, photos, custom logos, exported videos, or editing projects.
- We do not store your AI detection results, shot clips, scoring clips, or local editing history.
- We do not collect personal data for advertising tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.
- We do not require a HoopX account, so we do not collect account passwords, contacts, or social graph data.
3. On-Device Processing and Local Storage
The app uses system capabilities and local machine learning models on your device to analyze videos and identify shooting moments, scoring moments, and highlight clips. To provide the app experience, HoopX may store local settings, language preferences, subscription state cache, recent project state, temporary processing files, and exported files on your device. These items are used locally and are not uploaded to HoopX.
4. System Permissions
HoopX may request access to your photo library to select local videos, read the media you choose, and save exported videos back to your library. You can disable or adjust these permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Some import, export, or save features may not work if permissions are disabled.
5. Subscriptions, Purchases, and Apple Data Processing
HoopX Pro subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple App Store. Apple may process data related to downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, taxes, payments, diagnostics, and App Store operations under Apple's own privacy policy. HoopX does not receive your full payment card number and does not control Apple's processing of this data. In-app subscription status is generally provided through Apple's purchase receipts and system interfaces.
6. Information You Send to Us
If you contact us by email or another voluntary method, your email address, message content, attachments, and related technical information may be used to respond, troubleshoot issues, improve the product, or handle support requests. Please do not send unrelated sensitive personal information.
7. Deletion and Backup
Because HoopX does not store your user content, we generally cannot restore deleted videos, projects, or exported files for you. Uninstalling the app may delete local data inside the app sandbox. Content saved to Photos, Files, or other locations is managed by you. Please back up important media before deleting, uninstalling, or changing devices.
8. Children's Privacy
HoopX is intended for users who have lawful rights to use their media. Minors should use the app only with consent and guidance from a parent or guardian. Users must ensure that imported and shared videos do not violate another person's portrait rights, privacy rights, or other legal rights.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The app or website may include links to Apple App Store, Apple's standard license agreement, support email, or other third-party services. Third-party data processing is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You should review those rules before using third-party services.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy based on product changes, legal requirements, or App Store review requirements. Updated versions will be provided through the website or in-app links and will be identified by the last updated date on this page.
